Zach Wilson References Rumor in an Instagram Caption

It would be more funny if it was true....

Zach Wilson posted a few pictures of himself working out with "the boys" in Idaho.  He claimed poor cell service and asked what he missed.

"Took the boys to @gozzerranchclub in Idaho before camp! Poor cell service…what I miss?"

It's a pretty good way to handle the whole slept with his mom's best friend rumor that his ex started, except that's not exactly how he handled it.  He pretty much begged Barstool Sports blogger Jack Mac to take down a video breaking down the whole rumor saga.

So while everyone knows that Wilson heard about the rumor, he took things a step further by trying and failing to erase it from the interwebs.  That didn't work and his cute little joke doesn't work either for those who know he slide into the DMs in an attempt to quiet the noise.
