Cleveland Indians pitcher Zach Plesac was sent home after violating the team's protocol. The young righthander wasn't allowed to fly back with the team and instead drove the five hours home from Chicago.
Plesac wasn't the only Indians starting pitcher to violate the team's protocol. Sources revealed to ESPN that fellow righthander Mike Clevinger also left the team hotel with Plesac.
To make matters worse, Clevinger put his entire team at risk by flying back with them. He has been scratched from his start on Tuesday and will quarantine.
