COLLEGE BASKETBALL
SJ - December 8, 2020
Xavier head basketball coach Travis Steele celebrated Sunday's big win over Cincinnati by doing something for the fans. He walked into a bar and dropped $2,000 for the fans to celebrate the win with drinks on him.
Steele, who addressed the fans before dropping $1,000 for each one of his wins in the Crosstown Shootout, didn't stick around for the celebratory drinks.

Travis Steele just said he's going straight to @Danagardens right now and dropping $2,000 off for whoever would likely to safely enjoy a beverage on him.
He said $1,000 for each of his two wins in the Shootout. #Xavier @fox19

This is why people love the college game so much. There's a team and fan bond that just doesn't exist on the pro level.
