The big news in Canada was not that a Canadian named Nick Taylor was the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open in something like 65 years.
It was that his homie and fellow Canadian Adam Hadwin got taken out by security when he rushed his winning friend with a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
According to his wife's twitter, he ended up apologizing to the security detail that took him out, because that is how Canadians do things, they say "sorry" about everything.
What the Canadian didn't realize at the time is that he's just basically reinvented the sport or at least televised golf, making it full contact finally makes it more appealing and like an actual sport, rather than a gentlemanly game.
