Get ready for more COVID fun this fall. Crazy places like New York City and San Francisco, who are pushing vaccine mandates, won't allow unvaccinated NBA players to enter home arenas or facilities for games or team activities.
Unvaccinated players will have to get approved medical or religious exemptions in order to get around these power grabs. Apparently not having COVID isn't good enough.
Sources: Unvaccinated NBA players in markets with local requirements — such as NYC (Knicks, Nets) and SF (Warriors) — will not be allowed to enter home arenas or facilities for games or team activities conducted there unless there’s approved medical or religious exemption.
