Tua Tagovailoa has been through it the last few weeks. He missed three games with fractured ribs, returned and has played very well only to be hit with trade rumors.
It was reported on Tuesday night that the Texans and Dolphins have agreed on trade terms for Deshaun Watson. The only thing holding up the deal is his well publicized legal issues.
It's not clear if Tua is included in the potential trade or not, but it would seem as if his time as the Dolphins starting quarterback is close to the end. He was asked if he felt like the Dolphins don't want him to be their quarterback.
He gave a great football guy answer...
From Pro Football Talk:
“I don’t not feel wanted,” Tagovailoa said, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.
Head coach Brian Flores has said repeatedly that Tagovailoa “is our quarterback” and Tagovailoa said on Wednesday that he has “the utmost confidence and trust” that he is the quarterback in Miami.
Imagine asking Tua if he felt wanted. Only a soft ass media member, who needs to feel wanted, would ask such a weak ass quarterback. It's clear the Dolphins don't want him, but it's also clear Tua is still the starter, so he must prepare and play like the guy Miami thought they were drafting.
