Trent Dilfer Thinks Daniel Jones is Going to be a Great Quarterback

Trent Dilfer fired up his hot take machine this week and came up with an all-time take about Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.  He thinks the walking turnover will grow into a "great quarterback."

Dilfer actually said that.  He might be the only person outside of the Jones family who thinks so.

"I don’t think he’s gonna be a flash and sizzle guy all the time.  I think he’s going to grow into one of these great quarterbacks that makes everybody around him better because of what he’s gone through, what he’s endured, what he’s had to fight through.  And his team’s gonna be like, 'Listen, if that guy can do it, we can do it.'"

I know Dilfer tries to pass himself off as one of these guys that knows something nobody else does, but has he ever been right?  I can't think of a single take.
