Travis Kelce, a crowd favorite and Patrick Mahomes' partner in winning, may miss out on the season opener this Thursday against the Lions due to hyper extending his knee.

The KC Chiefs head coach made the announcement that the player injured himself today at practice and that his recovery time is uncertain.

Apparently, analysts are saying that if Kelce is out, the KC Chiefs may have a hard time beating the Lions and their line-up, because the catcher is that strong of a player for the team.

Kelce's record is pretty impressive with him playing at least 15 games a season since 2014 and last year hit 12 touchdowns and 110 receptions.

I think he hurt himself on purpose because he doesn't want to change his career stat of a total 69 touchdowns, you know ride it out for just one more day!

Team owner Gracie Hunt was in Aspen for the weekend, where she went on a hike and looked as lovely as ever.
