Tour de France organizers said on Sunday that they planned to sue the woman who held up a sign during the race on Saturday and caused a massive crash.  All they have to do is find her.

She was able to flee the scene before investigators could get make it to the scene of the crash.

From FOX Sports AU:

The roadside fan who caused a giant crash at the Tour de France is to be sued by the event’s organisers.

The woman concerned held up a banner slightly into the road and was looking straight at the television motorbike cameras with her back turned on the speeding peloton.

German rider Tony Martin brushed past her and was knocked off balance racing near the head of the peloton, and when he fell it caused a horrifying domino effect ending in a tangle of bikes and bodies.

See the woman and her sign get way too close to the action and ruin Saturday's action.

What an idiot.  She ruined the race and then bolted.  I hope it was worth it.  She got her camera time and much, much more.
