Reds outfielder Tommy Pham, who was suspended for three games after he slapped Giants outfielder Joc Pederson over a fantasy football dispute, isn't finished complaining about fantasy football. He's now taking aim at the league's commissioner Mike Trout.
Pham says Trout did a terrible job as the commissioner and called him "the worst commissioner in fantasy sports" for allowing Pederson to put a player on injured reserve when they were listed as out and adding another player. This was against the rules the league established prior to the season.
"Trout did a terrible job, man. Trout is the worst commissioner in fantasy sports because he allowed a lot of [stuff] to go on, and he could’ve solved it all. I don’t want to be the commissioner; I’ve got other [stuff] to do. He didn’t want to do it. We put it on him, so it’s kind of our fault, too, because we made him commissioner."
This sounds like a league filled with the worst kind of fantasy football players. There's the guy who doesn't follow the rules, the guy who takes it way too seriously and the commissioner who doesn't want to be the commissioner. This league was bound to be a disaster.
