Tom Brady Talks About Befriending Antonio Brown

There were a lot of people surprised by the reports that Antonio Brown was signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  It was soon after assumed that Tom Brady had pushed to get the troubled wide receiver signed.

That turned to questions of why would Brady befriend and go to bat for a guy like AB.  Brady was asked about it on Wednesday and went into detail about those types of relationships.

A lot of people have wondered why Tom Brady has not only befriended Antonio Brown but gone to bat for him and others like him, who have troubled pasts and baggage. So I asked Brady how he navigates those relationships.

Brady might believe all of that, but the bottom line is no matter how much trouble AB has gotten himself into he still has a ton of talent.  The moment AB's abilities fade is the moment his opportunities will dry up.
