Tom Brady retired for a little more than a month this offseason. He eventually decided that he wasn't finished playing and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shortly after he returned head coach Bruce Arians called it quits.
That wasn't the only excitement this offseason surrounding Brady. Rumors that he had interest in joining the Dolphins also surfaced. On Thursday reporters asked Brady about those rumors.
Brady didn't deny the rumors. He gave the "I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people" answer.
"I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people as I have for the last three or four years of my career, about different opportunities when I’m done playing football," Brady said. "I think for me, the most important thing is where I'm at now and what I can do for this team."
Tom Brady was asked point blank about the reports that he was interested in joining the #Dolphins in some capacity (minority owner, exec, and/or player) before eventually returning to Tampa.

Brady taking his talents to South Beach would have been great. Who knows how many more years he'll play, he could still end up in Miami at some point. I'm all in on it. Back in the AFC East with two head-to-head matchups against the Patriots. You can hear the boner popping up from the networks.
