Derrick Henry dragged the Tennessee Titans (with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback) to the AFC Championship game last season where they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champions. It was by far the best season of his four-year career.
The big season led to a big payday for Henry. He landed a new four-year, $50 million deal right before the deadline to get a new long-term deal done expired on Wednesday afternoon.
Titans and RB Derrick Henry is signing a four-year, $50 million contract that includes $25.5 million guaranteed, source tells ESPN.
In one off-season, the Titans keep both Henry and Ryan Tannehill on long-term deals.

No wonder Henry's been working out like a freak this off-season. He knew that a shitload of money was on the way and that he was going to have to be in the best shape of his life to carry it all to the bank.
And people claim the running back position is dead. Tell that to Henry and Christian McCaffrey, who landed a $64 million extension this off-season.
