Tennessee Titans first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was arrested late Friday night for a DUI. The arrest comes just days before the team takes on the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
Wilson reportedly blew a 0.107 and 0.113 when he was pulled over. This is the latest in a growing list of questionable decisions by the 350 pound offensive lineman.
From AtoZ Sports:
Tennessee used their 29th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft on the Georgia offensive lineman with the expectation that he would compete for playing time at right tackle as a rookie. The 6-foot-6-inch, 350-pounder has twice been placed on the COVID-19/Reserve list for the team. Wilson also had a run-in last month with TSU campus police while attending an off-campus gathering.
“We are aware of the situation,” the Titans said in a statement. “This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”
Wilson needs to get his shit together if he wants to have a career in the NFL. He's not off to a great start.
For some guys making it to the NFL is enough.
