The Detroit Tigers completely forgot how to play baseball with a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 9th against the Twins. It all started with the right fielder missing a relatively routine line drive with one out and two runners on.
The ball skips off his glove and goes all the way to the way. He gets to the ball rather quickly and managed to keep a run from scoring. That's when the real fun starts. The relay throw went to the catcher who noticed that a runner was too far off of second base.
Instead of keeping the bases loaded and allowing the runner to return to second, the catcher threw the ball over the third baseman's head allowing two runners to score and handing the Twins the walk-off win.

Imagine promoting shitty baseball as the official MLB Twitter account. This is how to lose a game at the highest level like a little league team. Bat flips and error filled walk-offs. Great job MLB.
