The White House invited the Atlanta Braves for a visit yesterday and when Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the team's "Native American Name" she went onto say "There should be a conversation" about changing their name! Obviously, the internet reacted!
Karine Jean-Pierre is offending me. Atlanta is the home of the Brave and that is why our team is the “Atlanta Braves” … find you something more important to focus on, respectfully. This is a city of many black achievements & Atlanta is a melting pot for all. Leave our team alone https://t.co/b2aqx75yKl

It's safe to say that appeasing the woke mob is a never ending slippery slope that will strip us of basically everything and anything that we may find traditional or nostalgic, because we are a privileged and bored society with nothing better to do than find problems in places there were otherwise no problems, triggering other people to see the same problem that may not even exist, then making people who don't care but who don't want to seem like bigots say "I guess that's problematic, I can't openly support keeping things as they were, because I don't want to be offensive or get cancelled".
So as elements of the world, the economy, our communities collapse, the woke mob has decided to put their sights on the Atlanta Braves, because you guessed it, it's insensitive to the indigenous people who's land we are on, or have been on for 400 years!
It is a sport's team name, it is not an important conversation that needs to be had, and it's the least of the concerning things going on in the world today, yet here we are finding another silly topic to further divide and distract from living our best lives!
Does the name offend actual indigenous people, I don't know, but I bet it offends a lot more blue haired weirdo trolls on twitter looking for their next thing to whine about!
Clearly, people are waking up to the absurdity of it all!
In other news, the Irish want to have a conversation about the Celtics logo!
