The Houston Texans have apparently had enough of training camp this season. I wonder if that has anything to do with their star quarterback Deshaun Watson both wanting a trade and being accused of multiple sexual assaults?
The Texans reportedly reached out to the NFL in an attempt to end their training camp early and switch to regular season rules and hours. That would end the requirement that practices be open to local media through August 26th.
The league didn't go for it and denied their request to end training camp early.

The Texans will have a few more weeks of the media reporting on Watson's every move at practice. There will also continue to be plenty of questions about his future with the team.
I bet the Texans wish they would have traded him when he first asked. Now there stuck with putting him at safety in practice and listing him as the fourth string quarterback.
