The Nets and 76ers came together to swap disgruntled players. James Harden has reportedly made it know recently that he wanted out of Brooklyn while Ben Simmons has refused to join the 76ers at all this season.
The Nets also receive Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks. You know because Simmons suck and a straight up Harden for Simmons trade would be insanity.

Wouldn't it be great if Simmons joined the Nets and didn't stop draining threes? It's not going to happen, but I would love to see it. All this time he refused to shoot threes because he hated it in Philly. It would be hilarious, but Brooklyn will be happy if he shoots the ball at all I'm sure.
