Today is a great day to talk politics, even though no day is a great day to talk politics and I don't even understand how everyone became so into politics, with politicians who were always public figures, being treated like celebs. It's weird to me.
Everyone is so heated up about things, fighting amongst themselves, over big deal issues that never seem to get resolved no matter who is in charge because we have been trained to think "good guys vs bad guys" and "who's side are you on" people fall into that "us vs them" between ourselves, not between US and THEM.
With that level of marketing, manipulation, emotional enragement comes crazies who take things to heart, take things upon themselves, and make them HATE in the depth of their soul, which leads to aggressively fighting for the side they are on, or against the side they are not on. Not realizing who or what they are actually fighting for, but fighting just the same.
With crazies who take things to heart, comes crazy behavior like passionately throwing things at the politicians the TV or internet or Twitter tell them to hate because they are on the other side of the fence.
Whether you are a Ted Cruz Hater or a Ted Cruz Lover, which both would be weird in the grand scheme of things since he's a politician, but whether you're left or right, up or down, top or bottom, let's hope we can all agree the world is silly and throwing things at these people is ridiculous.
The 33 year old, who is unidentified, but who threw a beer can at Ted Cruz during the Astros celebratory parade, was arrested yesterday afternoon.
We can all agree that Ted Cruz's dis was pretty solid:
As always I'm thankful for the Houston Police and Capitol Police for their quick action.
I’m also thankful that the clown who threw his White Claw had a noodle for an arm. https://t.co/CRSfNHckA2
