Surprising Team is Keeping an Eye on Deshaun Watson’s Trade Situation

With news on Friday that Deshaun Watson would not be facing any criminal charges his trade market is expected to heat up.  Several teams in need of a quarterback are expected to be interested in acquiring the Texans quarterback.

A surprising team is also keeping an eye on Watson's trade situation.  A team with a quarterback.  According to Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland is doing their homework on Watson.

Baker Mayfield is the Browns quarterback, but after an inconsistent 2021 season they aren't sold on him as their franchise quarterback.

It's hard to believe they would trade for Watson.  He is however a better quarterback than Mayfield.
