The buzz prior to Thursday morning was that the Brooklyn Nets were preparing to make a run at San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. They shocked the basketball world by hiring Steve Nash.
The former NBA MVP did do some work with Kevin Durant in Golden State when he was a player development consultant with the Warriors. But nobody saw this coming.
Hall of Fame guard Steve Nash has signed a four-year contract to become the next coach of the Brooklyn Nets, sources tell ESPN.

Working with KD is one thing. Having to coach Kyrie Irving is something completely different. Good luck Steve, but hot take here, I don't think he makes it to year three.
