Stephen A Confirms He Had Max Kellerman Kicked Off of “First Take”

Stephen A. Smith is without a doubt the biggest star at ESPN. What he says goes. That was confirmed recently when he had Max Kellerman kicked off of "First Take."

On Thursday, Stephen A talked about sending Max and his stale takes packing. He started off by confirming the rumors that he was the one who wanted to make the co-host change.

"The rumor’s accurate in terms of me wanting him off the show. Let’s get that out the way. Yes, I did."

The take game isn't an easy one. Stephen A is the master and if you're not as sharp as he is then you'll get steamrolled. That's what happened to Max. His takes were stale from the start, they didn't get any better and Stephen A tossed his ass to the curb.
