The Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns 28-14, finishing the regular season with a winning record but still out for the Playoffs.
One play in the game offended some people, with 39 seconds left on the clock, Alex Highsmith sacked Browns QB Deshaun Watson, when Highsmith was on his back another steelers player came over and to give him some simulated CPR.
Obviously, a week after Bills' Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest on the field, made the the millions of people watching a little overly sensitive, in a "what, too soon".
Are CPR jokes off limits because a player was administered CPR last week? When will they be allowed back?
Was it even a dig at Damar Hamlin just because the public have Damar on the brain? Are they laughing about it?
Maybe they are doing it to remind people how dangerous NFL football can be and keeping the story going for another week in this fast news cycle.
Does doing a CPR gesture mean they don't take Damar Hamlin's incident seriously, or that they want him dead, or suffering, or maybe they are scared their hearts will explode on the field also and this is how they cope?
From where I'm sitting, people are too damn sensitive.
