Sports Illustrated Swim are pretty much clout chasers. They've been around for 100 years or so, so they have to find different ways to stay relevant. More importantly, they need to stay prestigious and exclusive so that women asked to be part of their magazine don't ask them for money and more importantly, celebrate it like a lottery win.

Their pandering has been ridiculous because they were reacting to only featuring babes by featuring the opposite of babes and pretending they were worthy, so that they could get away with posting babes.

Survival tactics.

At least now, they feature athletes, they feature athlete wives and they should be in SI Swim, it's on brand.

I just find it interesting that women want to be selected by a media company to be seen as worthy enough to strip down and have pictures taken and published of them in this current climate.

You would think that women would be mad about it, hate on it, think it's misogynistic or shameless and beneath them, only because that's what they all say in the public forum.

However, the second SI comes knocking they all get giddy and excited and drop their pants and jump on the next flight, because suddenly they are validated.

Sports Illustrated understands that it's Super Bowl weekend, Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes are best buds at the games, it's just a way to maximize all efforts and help keep them alive!
