Kentucky wide receiver Rashann Lewis, son of NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, was arrested Sunday morning in Lexington. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
In addition to the DUI charges, Lewis was charged with improper start from a parked position and reckless driving. According to police he had a blood alcohol level of 1.53.
From Kentucky Sports:
Lewis, a senior at the school, was pulled over by a Lexington police officer at 535 S. Upper Street at 2:58 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest citation filed by the city police department. According to the citation, Lewis showed signs of impairment during a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol concentration of .153, nearly double the legal limit.
The Kentucky football team is aware of the situation. Lewis only played in six games last season and recorded only two catches. I'm sure Ray will get his son back on track.
