Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney died in a car accident in the early hours on Monday morning in Dallas. A female in the vehicle with him also passed away. There aren't a lot of details available surrounding the crash, but speed is believed to have played a factor.
According to reports, the vehicle Gladney was traveling in was speeding and hit another vehicle from behind before losing control and hitting a pier beam. A security guard who says he witnessed the crash shared a video of the aftermath.
According to the security guard, he watched Gladney and his girlfriend burn in the vehicle. He says he tried to get them out of the vehicle, but they were already gone.

It sounds like this is another very avoidable tragedy. There isn't any reports of alcohol being involved, other than what the security guard mentioned in his video, but even if there wasn't speed did play a factor and that makes these deaths completely avoidable.
