Sean Payton is Stepping Away From the Saints

Sean Payton got a look at life without Drew Brees and said no thanks.  There's that and the Saints are headed for a rebuild after he helped put them in salary cap hell.

Payton has reportedly informed the Saints that he's stepping away.  He is under contract through 2024.  So if any other team wants a head coach who looks like a squinty grandma they will have to compensate New Orleans.

This season isn't even over yet and the NFL is already going to look a lot different.  Who knows where Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are going to end up?  I'm sure Payton will return to annoy us at some point.
