Scottie Scheffler Gets Arrested on the Way to the Golf Tournament!

Scottie Scheffler is the number 1 golfer in the world apparently and while on his way to Day 2 of the tournament, he ended up getting arrested for assault on a police officer.

A few minutes ago he posted this statement:

It seems like the golfer threw some sort of tantrum that the Louisville police weren't having, because divas who think they deserve special treatment sometimes get reality checks.

The charge was second degree assault which was a felony, third degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, disregarding signals from an officer but he has been released.

There was some kind of fatal accident involving a shuttle bus carrying people to the course. I assume Scheffler was insensitive to the issue at the time of the arrest, trying to drive around the crash scene on a median and despite police trying to stop him, he kept on driving. Once he stopped, exited the vehicle, the officer shoved him against the car and cuffed him.

Well now he's covering his ass but he will still make it to tee-time!
