Saints WR Michael Thomas Will Not Play on Monday Night Because of an Altercation With a Teammate

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas will miss Monday night's game after an altercation this weekend with a teammate. Drew Brees will be without his security blanket as he takes on the Chargers.

Thomas was questionable prior to the suspension with an ankle injury, but it sounds like he was going play before being suspended.

Saints’ WR Michael Thomas had an altercation with a teammate at practice this weekend, per league sources. Saints now disciplining Thomas by sitting him Monday night, when he was being listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

As you might expect fantasy owners are pissed off about the timing of the announcement. It really limits their options to replace him in their lineups.
