Ronda Rousey Would Return to the UFC for One Fight

Ronda Rousey hasn't fought in the UFC since Amanda Nunes defeated her almost six years ago.  She has since made movies, stepped into the WWE ring, and started a family.  She has no plans of ever returning to the UFC.

Except for one fight.  During an interview with wrestling legend Kurt Angle, Rousey revealed the one person she would step back into the octagon to fight.  Women's fighting OG Gina Carano.

Rousey has a lot of respect for Carano and credits Carano with inspiring her to get into fighting, via The Kurt Angle Show:

"There's only one person.  There's only one person I would come back for.  I mean, I've said it a million times, for Gina, man.  Gina Carano, she's the reason why I got into fighting, she's the reason why I knew it was a possibility.  I will always be forever grateful.  If she ever was like, 'Ronda, I wanna fight you tomorrow at 205 pounds,' like whatever the hell she'd want, I'm not saying she's 205 pounds."

"If she wanted to come into my backyard and do the Rocky thing, you know, 'ding-ding' and we just do it in the backyard, I don't care.  I will fight Gina wherever she wants and if she doesn’t want to, forever.  It's a respect thing, not like a, 'Fuck you.  I'm coming to get you.'  It's just like, 'Hey, if you ever wanna pull that card out, it's there. I love her.  Thank you, Gina, for everything you've done."

Given that Carano is 40 now and focused on her acting and producing career I don't see this one happening.  Not until both Carano and Rousey reach that stage where they could use a big time freak show fight payday, which never say never on that.  For now the offer is out there waiting for Carano to accept it.
