Rihanna will be headlining the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show this year! The singer confirmed the rumors over on her Instagram channel this Sunday, sharing a photo of her hand holding up a football.
The NFL has also confirmed the upcoming performance with NFL’s head of music Seth Dudowsky saying “we are thrilled to welcome Rihanna to the Apple Music super bowl half time stage.”
Rihanna previously turned down the opportunity to perform at the big event back in 2019, saying that she was upset by the way Colin Kaepernick was treated for kneeling at during the national anthem.
It looks like her opinions on the league have changed and Rihanna is ready to put in an epic show this year!
