Richard Sherman Released a Statement Following Arrest, Reveals He’s Been Dealing With Personal Challenges

On the field,  I've always thought Richard Sherman was a bit overrated.  Off of it, I've always had respect for him.  He's a very thoughtful guy and that comes through in how he conducts himself.

Even in his lowest moment you can see that.  The free agent released a statement following his arrest and revealed that he's been dealing with personal challenges.

Sherman also spoke with reporters as he left the courtroom following his hearing.  He was very thankful for all of the support and said there were never any issues between him and his wife.

If there are teams interested then Sherman should be able to continue his career.  He's no longer the shutdown corner he never was, but he can be affective in the right scheme.
