Ravens rookie Odafe Oweh knocked Teddy Bridgewater out of Sunday's game with a helmet to the chin. The play wasn't flagged and Bridgewater, who was slow to get up, was later determined to have suffered a concussion.

The league thought the hit was worthy of a fine and handed one down to Oweh of over $11k.
From Pro Football Talk:
The league fined Oweh $11,457 for his hit on Bridgewater, who left the game with a concussion.
The officials did not flag Oweh for the play, but the fine suggests that they should have.
Bridgewater was able to practice on Friday and is expected to play for the Broncos tomorrow.
I get player safety and all that, but it's not like the players aren't aware that the sport they're playing has some serious risks to their health. This doesn't look like a hit deserving of a fine.
Yes there was a hit to the head, but the player wasn't trying to take his opponent's head off and some times heads hit each other.
We all need to fight back against the softness or the powers that be will turn the game we all love into two hand touch.
