As long as Colin Kaepernick continues to put out videos of himself throwing passes to receivers people in the NFL will be asked about whether or not he should be given a chance to play in the league.  Raiders owner Mark Davis was one of the recent ones to be asked about the former 49ers quarterback.

According to Davis, he believes in Kaepernick and if his coaches and GM wanted him on the Raiders roster he would welcome it.  The Raiders already have three quarterbacks, Derek Carr are Garrett Gilbert and Nick Mullens, adding a fourth doesn't seem likely.  That might be why Davis is saying what he's saying.

From Pro Football Talk:

But owners are rarely if ever asked about Kaepernick. Recently, it happened. In Race in America: A Candid Conversation, a production of NBCSportsBayArea.com, host Monte Poole asked Raiders owner Mark Davis about Kaepernick.

“I believe in Colin Kaepernick,” Davis said. “He deserves every chance in the world to become a quarterback in the National Football League. I still stand by it. If our coaches and General Manager want to bring him in or want him to be the quarterback on this team, I would welcome him with open arms.”

That all sounds nice and is exactly what you would expect Davis to say, but I don't see the Raiders signing him.  I could be wrong, but I would be very surprised.  The issue isn't signing Kaepernick, it's the media circus that would go along with it.
