Four Bills players were sent home on Tuesday, and will be away from the team for five days, after being in close contact with a staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member is fully vaccinated.
The four players, receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis and defensive tackles Vernon Butler and Star Lotulelei, are not. The fact that they're missing time even though they haven't tested positive isn't sitting well with some.
Among those is Rachel Bush, wife of Bills safety Jordan Poyer. She has a problem with the unvaccinated players being punished when they haven't done anything wrong and she wants the league to fix it.
When the vaccinated have been proven to be the problem over and over in the NFL so far-especially within the bills- but the unvaccinated who don’t have covid are the ones getting punished? Somebody better fix this sh*t ASAP. https://t.co/afLEGPEafJ

I don’t want to point fingers at the staff member either..he/she had no choice, they had to keep their job. It’s the rules that need to be addressed and changed because the vaccinated are putting others at risk. It’s very clear now.

The fact that vaccinated people are testing positive has certainly thrown a wrench in everyone's plans.
If players are willing to play it's safe to say they're aware of and they accept the risks. Which given their age and their physical shape are extremely low.
Not to mention the fact that the NFL already played an entire season without a vaccine.
