The ManningCast, at least with its current lineup, could be coming to an end after one season. Not because the show wasn't a success, but because Peyton Manning could reportedly leave ESPN for an ownership stake in the Broncos.
The Broncos are expected to be sold as early as March of 2022. Manning is said to have already been in discussions with prospective buyers.
From CBS Sports:
Sources said former Broncos star quarterback Peyton Manning, who is very interested in a potential ownership piece in the franchise and a possible role in serving in a management position as well, has already had discussions with several of the groups expected to be favorites to land the team, and his strong ties to Denver, where his family has lived since his playing days, and universal respect throughout the football world, would be a boon to any potential ownership group aligned with him.
As good as the ManningCast has been it wasn't a long-term spot for Peyton Manning. He either is going to get into the booth or ownership.
Manning will be great in a management position. He can teach players how to get away with putting their nutsack on a female trainer and how to have HGH sent to their wives (allegedly to both).
