Peyton Hillis is on the Long Road to Recovery!

The ex-NFL player recently did some hero moves by putting his life on the line when he saved his kids from drowning on a Florida beach.

You'd like to think that you would put your life on the line to save your kids, but to actually see it unfold is nothing short of remarkable.

The player ended up on a ventilator, but his girlfriend, actress Angela Cole, put out an update that read that Hillis is off his ventilator and on the road to recovery.

She also asked people to pray for him as he has a long ways ahead of him because the love and support makes a difference.

That's some good news, we obviously hope for a speedy recovery.
