Patriots RB James White Inactive on Sunday Night After His Father Was Killed in a Car Accident

Patriots running back James White was a late scratch from Sunday night's game against the Seahawks. His parents were involved in a car accident on Sunday and his father was killed.

White's father, Tyrone, was a captain with the Miami-Dade Police Department. His mother was also in the car and according to reports is in critical condition.

Sad news to report. Patriots' RB James White's father was in a car crash today and did not survive. His mother was also in the car and is in critical condition.

James was told and is inactive tonight.

That's definitely some tough news. Hopefully White's mother is able to pull through. Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire White family.
