The Chiefs took on the Ravens in Baltimore on Monday night and the first controversy of the season hit ESPN's Monday Night Football booth. The booth was called out by Patrick Mahomes' mom Randi Mahomes.
Randi took to Twitter to call out the announcer that kept calling her son Pat instead of Patrick.
If this announcer doesn’t stop calling my son Pat.. ugh i may scream... lol #help @ESPNNFL @espn

The tweet found its way to the booth and Louis Riddick owned up to the mistake. He apologized to Patrick's mother and took a couple of jokes from his fellow MNF broadcasters.
From ESPN:
ESPN analyst Louis Riddick took the blame in the fourth quarter after word of Randi Mahomes' tweet made it to the booth.
"Guilty, guilty, guilty," Riddick said while laughing. "I apologize, Patrick."
The ultimate Karen move here. She complained to the manager about something that in the grand scheme of things is incredibly insignificant. It's time to cut that hair Randi.
