Paige VanZant's Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut Super Bowl weekend didn't just result in a loss for the former UFC star.  The highly anticipated event might have been a loss for the BKFC too.

Reports have surfaced claiming the event didn't sell many pay-per-views.  The total being estimated at around 25,000 with only 5,000 of those being pay-per-views for TV.

It would seem that is a very disappointing number when you factor in how much VanZant is being paid by the fighting promotion.  Those numbers haven't stopped the BKFC from adding other attractive MMA fighters to their roster.

They've recently added Pearl Gonzalez and Rachael Ostovich.  A VanZant-Ostovich fight is rumored to be coming to a BKFC event soon.

If they were smart they'd add a few rounds of an oiled up wrestling match to the fight.  That would sell some PPVs!
