The San Diego Padres $340 million man Fernando Tatis Jr. was involved in a motorcycle accident in the Dominican Republic over the weekend.
The star shortstop received treatment for minor scrapes and was back to normal activities as of Thursday.
From The San Diego Union-Tribune:
A report out of the Dominican Republic said the incident involved a motorcycle and that Tatis was transported to a “medical center” for treatment.
People familiar with Tatis’ status said he was doing normal activities as of Tuesday.
I know there's a work stoppage right now, but the Padres can't be too happy to hear that their $340 million star is riding around on motorcycles in the off-season.
I'm glad Tatis is okay. I would really hate to see him hurt his bat flipping wrist or have that shoulder injury he dealt with last season pop back up.
