You have probably noticed that Roller Skating is making serious comeback, probably because Roller Blades are humiliating and Roller Skates are vintage, nostalgic and cool.

The big strong psycho girls of roller derby will argue that roller skating never lost its mainstream appeal, but all the roller rinks around the nation that closed down decades ago probably have a different story to tell.

Now, people are roller skating outside, at rinks, recreationally and as a dance form like the 80s, but they've also updated the sport to hit the skateparks and when that happens, weirdness happens.

If you're not hanging out in skateparks, or pools you probably didn't know that the 4 wheeled trucked skate is being used on their ramps and boxes.

It's actually coming full circle, since roller skates actually inspired skateboarding when a couple of crazy surfers attached roller skate wheels to a board to skate the empty pools.

Her name is Olivia Wardlow and they call her sport "Quad Skating".
