As you may know, based on the Megan Fox pictures we recently posted, there was an SI Swimsuit Edition party in NYC as the magazine does.
I don't think their target audience was really all that excited for the edition, like they would have been in days gone by, because of the whole GO WOKE GO BROKE mantra.
Brands and magazines do their posturing, their inclusivity, whether to appeal to brands, or female readers, or wimpy dudes with high estrogen, they call it virtue signalling.
What they don't seem to realize is that the audience, the consumer, doesn't care about any of that and have their same old needs and wants, which include seeing hot babes, unrealistically hot babes in swimsuits.
The truth is that the men's magazines, designed for men, feature these ripped dudes on the cover, and men buy it saying "I want to look like that, maybe there will be some health and fitness tips to help me". They don't try to cancel the magazine for making them feel bad about their beer belly.
The bikini magazines designed for a male audience should feature the women of the same high standard, but they've decided to listen to less than 5 percent of the uglies on twitter who aren't subscribers, who never were subscribers and who are just miserable and mad at life so they whine at them. So the team at SI decide to ignore the rest of us who want the hot chicks, who could be or were once subscribers, it's just a weirdeird business and content strategy.
They good news is they featured Livvy in the magazine, the most important women in college sports, so they didn't drop the ball there and as a short form TikTok star, she managed to find herself another TikTok star who's making big moves who is also in the magazine to lure a younger reader, who can just stare at their self produced content instead of some boomers trying to recreate their self produced content for the sake of a magazine they expect you to buy,
Here's some of those pics:
