Either the NFL is just bigger than ever and their star players are getting rewarded for it, or they've adjusted their contracts for inflation, because every few weeks a new story comes out about record-setting contracts.

The running back signed a two-year extension worth 38 million dollar, keeping him playing until he turns 31. He was already the highest paid running back thanks to signing a four-year when he was with Carolina worth 64 million dollars.
