LeBron James tweeted out the picture of the police officer who shot and killed 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant in Ohio. The tweet included the words "YOU'RE NEXT" with the hashtag #Accountability. The tweet caused a lot of controversy as it appeared that LeBron was comparing the shooting of Bryant to what happened to George Floyd.
As the body cam footage from the incident in Ohio clearly shows, the two incidents aren't comparable at all. Bryant was about to stab someone with a knife at the time she was shot. It's unfortunate that the incident in Ohio ended with the death of a teenager, but had the officer hesitated there's no telling what would have happened to the potential stabbing victim.
LeBron eventually deleted the tweet and on Thursday afternoon he received some advice from O.J. Simpson about being too quick to react to news of an officer involved shooting.
Wait for the facts! #LeBronJames pic.twitter.com/As2zaGQD4M

It's hard to argue with O.J. on this. The media serves up a version of the events that doesn't always contain all of the facts. It's best to wait for all of the facts to come out.
Who better than O.J. to pass along this knowledge?
