Miami Dolphin's QB was getting roasted the other day for throwing this throw in his preseason training camp, but it looks like a pretty good throw to me, sure it didn't connect, but those are just details!
The NFL has confirmed that the Dolphins were trying to get Tom Brady in 2019 and 2021, but instead drafted Tua Tagovailoa in 2020, who clearly wasn't their first choice.
Tua Tagovailoa remains their QB despite the team's public interest in other Quarterbacks, which is probably bad for morale, you know it's hard to go to work everyday knowing they are trying to replace you.
At a joint practice with the Bucs, Tua Tagovailoa downplayed what the Brady talks meant to his self esteem, by saying he's still here and that its' all just noise but we know he's just downplaying the hurt in his soul, which is probably why he's throwing rocks.
His quote is:
“I would say the only thing that gets frustrating is if you hear it every day or if you see it every day,” he said. “For me, I eliminate all of that. Don’t hear it. Don’t see it. I go home, go to my family, study, wake up the next day, come back and enjoy football. I hear everything obviously from the media and then when (the communications staff) preps me for whatever you guys are going to say, then I’m like, ‘Ah, I’ve got to answer this. All right, let me figure out something politically correct to say.’”
Clearly, it's under his skin!
