At a recent MotoGP event a Philip Island in Australia, a wallaby ran onto the track during a practice run and Spanish driver Aleix Espargaro seemingly barely avoided the animal while pushing 135 mph.
The driver didn't really do much avoiding, if anything it was lucky timing on the wallaby's end because there was probably not much the driver could do if he was a split second faster or the wallaby a split second slower.
I am sure that making contact with the animal would have done a lot of damage to the driver, even more damage to the wallaby, so as an animal lover, I'm glad everyone came out of it unscathed!
A close call for the Wallaby and @AleixEspargaro! 😅#AustralianGP 🇦🇺 pic.twitter.com/qn5gNcaqQz
