UPDATE: Stafford was traded to the Rams for Jared Goff and multiple picks

Detroit is dealing QB Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for two future first-round picks, a third-round pick and QB Jared Goff, per sources. Two former No. 1 overall picks trading places in the first blockbuster NFL trade of 2021.

The Matthew Stafford trade market is heating up. So much so that he's expected to be traded prior to the Super Bowl.

That would eliminate at least two teams from making the move. Lucky for Stafford there are a lot of teams looking to make a move at quarterback.

The 49ers have been mentioned as have the Rams and even the Patriots as possible destinations for him.

Almost any scenario will be better than what Stafford had to endure in Detroit. He's still incredibly talented and would be an upgrade at quarterback for any of those teams mentioned above.
