Mark Schlereth was the one who started the Aaron Rodgers to the Broncos trade rumor. He heard from a reliable source that the deal was "as close to a done deal as it can be."
The former player turned radio host then said it on his radio show. The rumor had Rodgers himself reach out to ask where Schlereth had heard about the trade to Denver.
The most telling part, according to Schlereth, is that Rodgers "didn't pour cold water on it."
"I get a message from @AaronRodgers12
"who's your source? what are you hearing?"
I'm like this is what I heard.. Is it true? You want to come over & get dinner? 😂

It sounds like there's something to the Rodgers to the Broncos trade rumors. We'll have to see if it actually goes down, but it doesn't look like Schlereth pulled it out of his ass.
