Mark McMorris Shares His Injury!

Mark McMorris is a Canadian snowboarding legend. He gets a lot of hype in his home country for being one of the best around.

In pushing his sport forward, the rider has faced his fair share of injury, as expected at the high stakes level he plays at.

Prior to the last Olympics, he was being promoted as a comeback story because of a near fatal injury fracturing his femur and pelvis. He's also broke his ankle and other things, I am sure.

He has won Bronze and Silver in the Olympics.

Today, he posted these shots of a crazy injury captioned:

What I thought was a black eye turned out to be a more severe injury. On Monday, I underwent surgery at VGH to have my orbital bone and nose repaired. Dr. Brown and his team did a stellar job, and I’m now officially on the mend. Thank you all for the kind messages and healing vibes! It means a lot❤️ Most of all, thank you to all of my partners who have had my back through this!
